1. Scope and who is responsible
This policy applies to information handled through this website, its contact and consultation forms, and direct communications that arise from an inquiry. It does not automatically apply to a booking platform, payment provider, condominium administration, utility, insurer, or other third party, each of which may have its own privacy practices.
The business operating this website is responsible for the information it decides to collect and use for its own purposes. When we process information solely on an owner’s instructions under a separate management agreement, the allocation of privacy responsibilities may be addressed in that agreement and under applicable law.
2. Information we may collect
The information we receive depends on how you interact with us. Please do not submit sensitive information that is not reasonably needed for your request.
- Contact details, such as your name, email address, telephone or messaging number, preferred language, and the content of your message.
- Property and ownership information, such as the property’s general location, type, bedrooms, amenities, condominium or resort, availability, and management needs.
- Commercial information you choose to provide, including current rental activity, indicative revenue, service preferences, and documents needed to evaluate or perform an agreed service.
- Guest, reservation, vendor, or incident information when it is necessary to coordinate an authorized management service.
- Basic technical records that a web host or security service may generate, such as IP address, browser type, device information, request time, and pages requested.
3. Why we use information
We use information only for legitimate operational purposes and as permitted by applicable law. Depending on the context, processing may be needed to respond to your request, take steps toward a contract, perform a management agreement, protect the website, comply with a legal obligation, or pursue a legitimate business interest that does not override your rights.
- Answer inquiries, arrange consultations, and assess whether a property may be suitable for our services.
- Prepare proposals and, if engaged, coordinate listings, reservations, guest support, cleaning, maintenance, reporting, and other agreed work.
- Authenticate users, maintain records, prevent misuse, investigate incidents, and protect people, properties, accounts, and systems.
- Administer billing, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet accounting or other legal requirements.
- Send service-related communications and, only where permitted, relevant marketing that recipients can ask to stop.
4. When information may be shared
We do not describe personal information as being sold. We may disclose only what is reasonably necessary to service providers, professional advisers, property personnel, contractors, authorities, or transaction counterparties for a legitimate purpose and subject to appropriate safeguards where required.
Reservation channels, payment services, property-management systems, messaging tools, analytics, or other integrations are involved only if they have actually been enabled or are needed for an agreed service. Availability and data practices are controlled in part by those third parties; naming a platform on this website does not mean that an integration or partnership is active.
- Hosting, security, email, communications, document, accounting, and technical-support providers.
- Authorized owners, guests, cleaners, maintenance vendors, condominium or resort personnel, and other parties needed to carry out a request or manage a stay.
- Courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies, emergency services, or other persons when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or property.
- A prospective buyer, investor, successor, or adviser in connection with a genuine business reorganization, subject to confidentiality and applicable law.
5. Storage, transfers, retention, and security
Information may be processed in the Dominican Republic and, if a selected service provider operates elsewhere, in another country. Where cross-border processing occurs, we will seek safeguards appropriate to the information, the provider, and applicable legal requirements.
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, an active business relationship, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, security, or a legal obligation. Retention periods vary by record type and context; information may be deleted or de-identified when it is no longer needed.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures suited to the nature of the information. No website, transmission, or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
6. Your choices and privacy requests
Subject to applicable law and relevant exceptions, you may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access, correction, updating, deletion, or another available remedy. You may also withdraw a consent for future processing where consent is the basis used; withdrawal does not undo lawful processing already completed.
Send a request through a verified contact channel displayed on this website and describe what you need. We may take proportionate steps to confirm identity, authority, and the records involved before acting. If information is controlled by a property owner or another platform, we may direct the request to that responsible party.
7. Children and information about other people
This website is intended for adults seeking or supporting property-management services and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly seek personal information directly from children through the website.
If you provide information about a guest, co-owner, employee, contractor, or other person, you are responsible for having appropriate authority and giving any notice required by law. Information about minors should be limited to what is genuinely necessary for an authorized reservation, safety matter, or legal requirement.
8. PuntaManaged Staff mobile app
The staff app uses work accounts, device registration, assigned tasks, checklists, notes and photos to coordinate property operations. Camera, photo-library and notification permissions are requested when used. Task photos are compressed and location metadata is removed before upload.
Downloaded task data and pending work are encrypted on the phone. Task copies normally expire after 72 hours, subject to the configured limit. Unsynced work remains until synchronized or explicitly discarded. Signing out clears local tasks and photos. A revoked phone clears its workspace when it receives the revocation; an offline phone cannot receive an immediate remote wipe.
Optional arrival reminders use location only for assigned task areas. We do not upload a continuous GPS trail or use reminders as evidence for payroll, attendance or discipline. Declining location permission does not prevent task work. Reminders can be disabled in Profile or phone settings.
Push providers receive a device token and generic notices without access codes or guest details. Limited reliability event counts are sent to PuntaManaged. When native crash monitoring is configured, Sentry receives sanitized crash stacks and app/system versions. Screenshots, session replay, request bodies and staff notes are excluded by the app configuration.
Use the support details on this site for lost-phone reports, account assistance and privacy requests. Signing out does not delete business records already synchronized to PuntaManaged.
9. Updates and questions
We may revise this policy as the website, services, providers, or legal requirements change. The date above should be updated whenever material revisions are published. A prior version may remain applicable to earlier handling where required by law or contract.
Questions or privacy requests may be submitted through a verified contact method shown on the website. No statement in this policy is legal or tax advice, and property owners remain responsible for obtaining advice about their own compliance obligations.
